Wendy Louise Designs

Wendy Knight studied at reading College of Art & Design and the Grafton Academy. She has built a loyal customer base by designing and handcrafting one off bespoke millinery pieces using traditional skills passed down from her grandparents who owned a millinery factory in Luton. She also exhibits collections at several high profile trade fairs in Ireland and in the U.K.

Her designs range from theatrical large brimmed showstoppers, in a range of fabrics embellished with beads and veiling, to more subtle cloches , pillboxes and tribys.

She also designs an exclusive collection for Ballyboy Design.

Wendy works from her studio just outside Newtownforbes in Longford. She is passionate about craft and craftsmanship and is a member of the design & Crafts Council of Ireland.
