17 Jun Cleo Prickett
Cleo Prickett completed a Diploma in Pattern Cutting at Sallynoggin College of Further Education before going on to study for a BA in Womenswear Design & Technology at London College of Fashion.
She worked at Alexander McQueen, Mathew Williamson, Mary Katranzou and Roland Mouret prior to coming home to realise her dream of setting up her own brand.
Her collections demonstrate a wide experience of working across various fashion disciplines. She uses distinctive design and development techniques to subtly push the boundaries of contemporary womenswear. Her designs are technically flawless as well as aesthetically beautiful and offer a distinctive version of investment dressing.
Cleo designs and hand crafts every element of her collections in her studio at Durhamstown Castle. She develops the clothes using a 3D method, rather than drawing, using her Mum as her fit model and muse. She treats garments more as sculptures on the body, employing a standard of tailoring that is innovative and modern yet technically precise.
