David O’Malley

David O’Malley is an Associate member of the CIFD. He  studied fashion design at the National College of Art & design in Dublin where he developed a unique aesthetic within the avant-garde tradition. Through the manipulation of unconventional materials, O’Malley creates one-off designs which engage audiences with a world of excitement, danger and desire.

He favours tactile and often unconventional fabrics. Since graduating in 2013, David has developed further collections comprising luxury materials including leathers and cashmeres. He has collaborated on several artistic projects and worked with emerging bands – designing individual pieces for both their music videos and performances.

David O’Malley has participated in shows at the Royal Albert Hall, London and created one off bespoke pieces for several presenters and performers.
